Rene Marie Russo, an American film director and actress who was a former supermodel is a film director. She is known for her beautiful beauty and her long-standing presence in the demanding film industry shows her skills and talent as a performer. Young model she started in the 70s. Her popularity quickly grew within the world of modeling. After studying acting, Russo began her modeling career working in Los Angeles. Russo's screen debut was in ABCs 1988 drama Sable, where she appeared as Eden Kendell. The first film she acted in, Major League was released two years later. Invicta Fighting Championships signed her in and then she became a member of the Ultimate Fighting Championships. Her accomplishments both in and out of the Octagon has made her an international brand after she joined the UFC. Namajunas is a Lithuanian born American, who was born on June 29, 1992 at Milwaukee Wisconsin. Rose participated in many sports as a child such as basketball and kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships was her first fight in professional. At 18, she had already won two bouts via submission. Dana White, who was watching her closely at that time, signed her into the UFC strawweight division to fight in December 2014; she had recently turned 22. Through Rose s career she has been through periods of the highs and lows with each victory has been hers. Rose took on Carla Esparza in April 2015 to win the Women's Strawweight Champion. She won the fight by technical knockout within 3 minutes of the first round. It was the first female to fight to win a title in any of the major promotions in the world. Namajunas continued to have many other victories, including 2 victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her the title of Performance of the Night by UFC.
